ICE-CREAM STAND.
Application lecl August 31 To all 'whom it 'may concern.'
Be it known that I, BERT VAN Venen, a citizen of the United States, residing in Los Angeles, California, have invented a new and useful Ice-Cream Stand, of which the following is a specification.
My object is to make a stand for use in selling ice cream, and the like, in the open air as at parks, picnics, beaches, street corners and the like; and my invention consists of the novel features herein shown, described and claimed.
In the drawings: Figure 1 is a vertical sectional detail of an ice cream stand embodying the principles of my invention. I? ig. 2 is a detail of one of the supporting legs and umbrella support as indicated by the arrow 2 in Fig. 1.
Referring to the drawing in detail, the leg sockets 1 are T-shaped, the side nipples being screw threaded to receive the legs 2 and the pipe rim 3 extending loosely through the end nipples so as to hinge the legs to the rim. The main frame is an inverted cone parted horizontally near the vertical center and comprising the upper shell 1 and the lower shell 5 flanged and connected together by bolts G. The upper end of the shell l is connected to the rim 3 and is provided with a door opening 7 and a Hoor 8. The door 9 is hinged to the upper edge of the lower shell 5 in place to close the opening 7 and carries the steps 10 so as to form a stairway leading to the floor 8 when the door is let down.
The ice box 11 has a hub 12 at the center of its bottom and a drain pipe 13 is fixed through the hub and extends up and down there being drain openings through the pipe from the bottom of the interior of the Specification of Letters Patent.

tatably mount the ice boX in the center of the shell 4l. A jar 16 is mounted upon the shelf 17 fixed upon the upper end of the drain pipe for containing the cornucopias 18. Light bulbs 19 are fixed to the rim 3. A nipple 2O extends upwardly from one of the sockets 1 to receive the stem of the umbrella 21. he ice cream jars 22 are placed in the ice box. The operator stands upon the floor 8 and the ice box is rotatable.
The stand is readily knocked down and portable.
I claim:
1. An ice cream stand comprising an inverted hollow cone, means for holding the cone upright, a floor half way up in the cone, and an ice box rotatably mounted upon the floor.
2. An ice cream stand comprising an inverted hollow cone, a floor in the cone, a door leading to the space above the tloor and adapted to swing Clown and form steps, legs connected to the rim of the cone, an u1nbrella connected to the rim of the cone, and an ice box rotatably mounted upon the floor.
3. An icc cream stand comprising an inverted cone formed in two parts, a floor in the cone, a door leading to the space above the floor and adapted to swing down and form steps, a pipe rim around the upper end of the cone, legs hinged to the rim, an ice box rotatably mounted upon the floor, a cornucopia jar mounted upon the ice box, and lights mounted upon the rim.
