The invention relates to iniprovements in knocledown barrels.
The object of the present invention is to improve the construct-ion of barrels, and to provide a simple, inexliensive and eiiicient knock-down barrel oit great strength and durability, adapted to etl'ect a saving in time, labor and material in the construction of barrels and in handling the same, and capable ot being quickly set up for use and of being readiljvY opened at either end, and oi" also being lniockeddown and arranged in a compact bundle tor shipping or storing.

The wiresv tlexiblvv connect the staves and enable the sections to be readily bowed in setting up the barrel for use and also to be arranged tlat when collapsing the Vbarrel. The stoves, which are preterahhv curved transversely, have vertical inner faces and are tapered radially to forminwardlv converging side edges 7 for enabling them to be arranged in circular to in, and to provide a tight barrel, as clearly illustrated in Fig. 3 of the drawings.
