Be it known that I, Foss DE Roenes, a citizen of the United States of America, and a resident of Chicago, in the county of Cook and Statefof Illinois, have invented certain iew and useful Improvements in Game- Boards, 0f which the following isa specilication.

This invention relates to gameboards for 4playing games representing speed contests such as equestrian, foot or like races, or contests, and 1n which succeeding casts of a cu-l bical die carrying the spots or numerals one l to six on its respective faces, afford the means by which the points in the game are made." And the present improvement hasfor its object/to provide a simple, efficient grouping of the surface indicating means or figures upon 'of the game board wherewith the attainment of the point-s in the game are indicated in a ready manner andvwith which a material increase in the element of chance is introduced into the game, all as will hereinafter more fully appear. i

Referring to the drawings, 1 represents the board or chart, preferablyl of the rectanlar form shown, and comprising a sheet'of mill-board or Vthe like, which maybe suitably creased so'as to fold together intoa compact shape when not 1n use, andas usual in the board, as shown. In my preferred grouping as shown in Fig. 1, six rows of horses and jockeys are shown, but the number of rows may be increased or sirablewithout departing from the scope of my invention.
