. Be it known that I, Ronrn'r D.; SIMPSON, a citizen of the United States. residing at Columbus. in the county of Franklin and `State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Tov Pistols, of which the following is a speci cation.

My invention relates to toy pistols'and means for explodingpercussion caps thereon iu which the caps to be employediarearranged at regular intervals on a strip of paper which is rolled and secured within thehnndle of the pistol.

The object of my invention is to provide is an interior view of the right hand handle member, Fig. 3 is an interior viewiof lthe v corresponding left hand member, Fig. 4 is a detail view of the revolving trigger. and

In cari-yin out my invention, I employ two hollow s ells 1 and 2 formed to simulate a revolver, a firing vpin 3, an actuating member j4, bearing projections l" adapte to contact with the shoulder 15 on the firing pin 3 and cause the latter to discharge the cap .at the anvil 2O and a roll of paper or like materia-l 7 having percussion ca s 8 mounted thereon. Lugs Q, 10 and 11 in the right hand member are adapted to enuge mrrcsponding dcpi'cssions '12, 13 and .I4 in the loft hand member, a shoulder 15 on the -firingpin affording a seat for the spring 6 and lugs 16 and 17 support the said s ring atthe opposite end thfreof. The siell walls are broken away at 18 to leave an ov enin in the assembled shell'through whic i ii ro l of caps may be inserted.
