To all whom it may concern:'

Be it known that I, CHARLES HENRY MY- Ens, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented a new and useful D splay-Cover, of which the following 15' a specification.

. The invention relates to im rovements in display covers for articles of cod, etc.

The object of the present invention is to improve the construction of covers for displaying and protecting merchandise, and to provide a simple, inexpensive non-breakable cover, hav1ng a transparent to and adapted while displaying goods to a 0rd an absolute protection agamst insects, dust and dirt.

With these and other objects in view, the invention consists in the construction and novel combination of parts hereinafter fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawing, and ointed out in the claims hereto appende it being understood that various changes in the form, proportion, size and minordetails of construction, with- *in the scope of theclaims, may be resorted to without departing from the spirit or sacrificing any of the advantages of the invention.

The top 2 of the cover is provided at its center with a suitable handle 8 to enable the cover to be readily handled.

The cover with its dome-shaped transparent top portion may be advantageously employed for displaying various kinds of merchandise for advertising and other urgoses, and it will protect such goods om ust and dirt and e ectually exclude insects.

In Fig.3 of the drawing is illustrated a modification of the invention, the transparent top 9 bein flat and having its periphery arranged in ifiiorizontal groove 10 of an extension 11 of a wooden supporting wall 12. In the construction shown in Figs. 1 and 2, which represents'the preferred form of the invention, it will be noted that theparts 4 and 5 constitute the joint between the rim and the top and also form a supporting flange for the cover in the event that the rim is slip ed within a vessel.
