To all whom "it fmay concern:

Be it known that I, VALANCEY M. F ULLER, a subject of the King of England, and a resident of New York, county and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Holders, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.

This invention relates more particularly to a holder or device which is adapted to serve asa match safe, ash receiver and cigar or cigarette holder.

The primary object of the invent-ion isto provide a device which is adapted to be 4attached under the top of a table or under the arm of a chair or other support so that it may be'moved out of the way when not in providesr a receptacle having means for holding the ashes of cigars, cigarettes or the like and to hold matches convenient for removal or lighting the same, as well as to support the cigarettes or cigars to permit the ashes to fall into a tray orreceiverprovided therefor, thus overcoming the objections incident to the ordinary form of device provided-,tor this purpose.

A further object (if the invention is to provide a simple and efficient device which may be readily made and assembledv and which may be pivotally attached to a support.

invention will be hereinafter more particularly described with reference to the accompanying drawings, which form a. part o f this specification, and will then be pointed out in the claim at the end of the description. i

In the drawings, Figure I is a perspective view of one form of device embodying my invention, showing the saine attached to a support. Fig. 2 is a plan view of the device. Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section taken on the line III-III y transverse section through the device.
