T 0 all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY H. LONG, a citizen of the United States, residing at La Crosse, in the county of La Crosse and State of lVisconsin, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Folding Camp- Stoves, of which the following is a specification.
Myinvention relates to folding camp stoves and the object of the invention is to provide a stove formed of a triangular frame which may be readily set up and form a firm support for a vessel over a fire built on the ground and which frame may be very compactly folded so as to occupy but little storage space. This I accomplish by the construction shown in the accompanying drawings in which,
Figure l is a perspective of my improved camp stove or frame with the wind-shield removed. Fig. 2 is a like view of the same folded. Fig. 3 is a cross section on line 33 of Fig. 2. Fig. 4: is a perspective showing the stove with a wind shield applied.
A, designates a triangular frame formed of three sections of angle iron a, a, a, pivoted together at the ends of their overlapped horizontal flanges 64, a, a by pivots a a a; the latter pivot being removable to permit the three sections to fold into parallel positions as shown in Figs. 2 and 3.
B, designates three legs secured at their upper ends by pivots b, to the inner sides of the vertical flanges of the angle iron sections a, one leg to every section, and these legs B, swing up along side the inner faces of the frame sections a, and lie parallel therewith when the frame is folded. The lower ends of the legs B, are shaped to readily penetrate the ground.
here the frame is large a cross piece C, may be provided and it will be pivoted at one end to the middle of one section a, and be of a length to extend over to one of the other sections and if desired a second cross piece C may be provided to extend from another frame section a over to the middle of the cross piece C. This will provide for several vessels being supported on the stove.

and has eyelets d, (Z, at its upper edge to fit over studs, a a on the upper side of one of the sections a, of the frame A.
Itwill be seen that the stove may be cheaply made and that it may be carried by picknickers and campers without materially increasing the bulk of the baggage.
What I claim is 1. A folding camp stove comprising, a triangular folding frame formed of three angle iron sections or bars the horizontal flanges of which are overlapped at their ends and there pivotally connected, one of said connections being separable or removable, and a leg pivoted to the inner side of every frame bar to fold up under the horizontal flange thereof; whereby when the said removable or separable pivotal connection is removed the three frame bars and their attached legs may be folded together side by side, substantially as set forth.
2. A folding camp stove comprising, a triangular folding frame formed of three angle iron sections or bars, the horizontal flanges of which are overlapped at their ends and there pivotally connected; one of said connections being separable or removable, a cross bar pivoted at one end to the upper side of one of said angle bars to swing over to the upper side of another of the bars or sections, and a leg pivoted to the inner side of every frame bar to fold up under the horizontal flange thereof; whereby when said removable or separable pivotal connection is removed the three frame bars, the cross piece, and the three legs may be folded together as set forth.
3. The combination with the folding triangular frame one of the sections of which is provided with studs or projections and legs pivoted to the frame sections to fold up parallel therewith, of a wind shield having apertures at the upper portion to fit over said studs substantially as set forth.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature, in presence of two witnesses.
