To all whom 'it may concern:

Be it known that I, HAMILTON SAYERS BANn, a citizen of the United States, residing at New Ulm, in the county of Austin and State of Texas, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Stationery Filing-Cases, of which the following is a specihcation.

My invention relates to new and useful improvements in a stationery filing case.

The object of my invention is to provide a filing case for stationery which will by its simple arrangement facilitate the handling of stationery, and is especially adapted for offices and stores.

Finally the object of my invention is to provide a device of the character described that will be strong, durable, efficient and simple in construction, and also one in which the working parts will not be liable to get out of working order.

With the above and other objects in view, my invention has particular relation to certain novel features of construction and o eration, an example of which is describe in the following specification and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:

Figure l is a perspective View of the filing case closed, and showing especially the bac: of the said case and an arrangement to open the different sections, and Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the filing case with its sections open showing the different sections open in different positions in book form.

In the drawings in Fi 1, 1 and 6 are the outside sections of the ing case. 2, 3 and 4: are the inside sections of said case, although there is no limited number of secv tions. The dierent sections are hinged together with the hinges 5.

In Fig. 2, 1 is the outside section of the case open, the same having any convenient stationery holders 8 on the interior thereof. 2, 3, and 4 are the inside sections shown open in book form. 6 is one of the outside sections of the case. 9 is one of the inside sections showing the outside strip cut away at a-a to show that the stationery 10 may be filed on both sides of the section by having a panel 7 in the center which Will form the wall for both sides on which the stationery 10 may be sus ended.

It will be rea ily understood from the foregoing description that the invention is not limited to any particular number or size of the sections, any number of sections required for the purposes attending the part1cular use of the device being provided. A meritorious feature resides in the fact that both sides of the intermediate sections and the insides of the back and front sections all serve alike in holding the stationery.

What I claim, is:

A stationery filing case ofA the character described comprising a pair of like hollow rectangular outer cover members provided with a continuous inwardly directed iange, a plurality of intermediate members of the same size as the cover members provided with a continuous surrounding marginal portion and an intermediate we or partition constituting receiving spaces on both sides of each of said members, hinges connecting adjoining flanges of all of the sections whereby they may be closed to constitute a book-like structure having flush margins with the interior spaces confined throughout the extent of the device, and fastenmg clips for securing the stationery on the inner surfaces of the walls of the device.
