IMPROVED HINGE.

the city and county of Milwaukee, und State 'of Wisconsin, have invented u new and useful Improvement in Stop-Hinges; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full,vclear, and exact description thereof', which will enable those skilled in the art to ina-ke and use the same, reference being had to the laccompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in which- Figure lis a. view ofthe hinge open with the stopin place. Fig. 2 is a. view of the hinge with the stop out of place, sameas when closed; und Fig.3, a view ofthe hinge half closed.

The object of my invention is to provide a. hinge with u stopwhich shall hold it opeu,aud thus hold up a table-leaf or anything else, as may be required, without the use of :my other appliance for the same purpose.

Operation: Screw the hinge onto anyplace where wanted, the same as any-other hinge',-

and when in its ordinary position turn the stop D round sidewise, as shown in Fig. 3. When the leaf of theltable is raised, turn the stop, as shown, Fig. 1, and the lent' will be held up, as

l desired.
