Be it known that l, Janes G Paniieia a citizen of the l'nited States of America, residing at \\'tisliiiigt ii'. in the county of Vivashington and State ot' Pennsylvania. have invented certain new and useful lmprovenients in Cheek-Valves, of which the toliowing is :i specification, reference heilig had therein to the accompanying drawing.
l`hi.-; invention has relation to check valves, and the invention has for its object the provision ot novel means for cleansing valves of thisclniracterand saine more etlieient when used.
Another ohject ot' this invention is to provide a valve ot' the ahove type which will he extremely simple in construction., strong and du 'ahle and con'iparatively inexpensive to nninutacture, and l have so constructed my improved valve that it may he readily disassembled and the wearing parts re.- newed when they have heroine worn.
Brielly described, my improved valve con sists' ot a T-sliaped hotly portion having au inlet, an outlet and a cleansing port. and in the cleansing port, l pivotally mount a valve, which, in ite` normal position, is adapted to close one ot the ports olf the hotly, and in the top of the cleansing port l secure a suitahle cap.
