To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, LLOYD B. HoRNBEoK, of Minneapolis, Hennepin county, Minnesota, have invented certain newfv and useful Im rovements in Chandeliers, of which the follbwing is a specification.

My invention relates to light fixtures and particularly those of the chandelier type.

The object of my invention is to provide a simple, inexpensive means'for mounting 4 the lamp-fixture-supporting arm in the hanger portion of the chandelier.

.'A further object is to provide means for supporting the lamp socket, which will eliminate vibration thereof to a large degree and thereby prevent breakage ofthe electric bulb filament.4

Other objects of the invention will appear from the following detailed description.

Itshould be understood that this invention is adapted for any style or size of chan delier and may also be used with a wall bracket, if preferred. A chandelier having .arms mounted in this way, can be easily taken apart and shipped in knock-down form as readily as one having hinged arms. My invention possesses a further advantage in the fact that anew arm can be easily substituted for an old one and the parts can be quickl necessity of employing skilled labor. Upon removing the ornament at the lower end of the chandelier, the continuation of the hangerh can be taken out and the set screw engaging the inner ends of the chandelier arms becomes readily accessible and can be loosened or tightened, as desired.
