Be it known that I, RUDOLPH J. LACKNER, subject ot the Emperor of Austria-Hungary, residing at .New York city, in the county ot' New York and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Signs, of which the following is a speciication.

. This invention relates to movable signs and comprehends certain improvements in lighting arrangements and in the construction of signs movable under the intiuence of a current of air.

This invention particularly contemplates an improved construction of sign rotatable upon a tubular support arranged to serve as a conduit for an illuminating medium, the same being provided with illuniinating means. .f

This arrangement enables a person to readily adjust or replace the light burners or lamps when. it is desired to do the same. The Wings are provided at their opposite ends with rings 23 which are connected by its spokes 24 to the resl'iective sleeves 13.

The conduits-1 and 2 may be provided with any number of lights and witlreolored screens desired. When the signis rotatably mounted on the conduits l and which are secured in position on the wall of the building, the entire sign will revolve when a current ot air engages tlieI Yanes ll. llach of these wings is adapted to carry advertisements or other announcements and will, at night, be illuminated by means ol 9 the interiorly z u'ranged lighting devices.
