Beit known that I, Lewis' MOORE, acitii zen of the United States, and a 'resident of- Joliet, i-iithe county of Will and State of, Illinois, hare rinvented certain'new and useful liniproveinentsin Stoves, of which the While attempts have heretofore been made to construct oven doors of this type, so far as l. ani aware, in such former attempts large single panes or plates of thick, heavy glass 'have been used and have. all resulted unsuccessfully, due to warpingg, or distortion lof the panes iii manufacture, whereby internal stresses aiedeveloped therein when said, panes arensecured iii-the yrigid frainesffornied in the oveii doors .to receive them, aiid to the excessive expansion and contraction of said panes in use, arising` from the high degree otl heat in wide ra-nge .of temperature y'to which they are subjected. which causes, pai'- ticularly when cooperating, soon result 1n. .the breaking ot said panes.

To provide` for thus supporting'said door A it' is provided at its lower corners with lugs 5, adapted to lengage corresponding bearings, not shown, .on the body portion of the stove', in a familiar manner.

Formed in the door A and comprising corresponding openings in the door proper 1 and in thelining 2, isa continuous opening 6 which is closed by a Window comprising two or more separate panes or plates of glass 7, a
