7'0 all whom it may concern Be it known that I, HORACE L. Hnnvny, of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia, and in the State of Pennsylvania, have invented a certain new and useful Reflecting Lamp-Ghimney; and I do hereby declare that the following is a. full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying d1a.wings. uml to the letters of reference marked thereon.

The nature of myinvention consists in the constructionof glass chimneys for lamps with metallic reflectms, and securing the same by. suitable means to the chimneys, as will be more fully hereinafter described.

To enable those skilled in the art to make and use my invention, I will now describe its construction and operation.

A reflecting lamp-chimney, composed of metal and glass, one whole side or less made of metal, which serves as theretlector, and secured to the glass by v means of beading (Z and grooved catches e, or lugs b, The reflectors, shown in figs. 1 and 2, are made to or hooks .c, substantially in the manner and for the purposes described.
