The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part-bf the same,
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, "WILLARDv P. Bnooxs, now of Bloomington, in the county of McLean, and State vof 11linois,have.invented a new and valuable Improvement in Method' for vWorking Three Horses Abreast; and I do hereby declare that the following is av fnll, clear, and exact descnp'tion of the construction and operation of the' same, reference being had to the annexed drawings, making-v a part of this snpecication, and to the` letters and figures of reference marked -thereon.

My invention relates to means for eqnalizing the draught between a team of three horses, or other animals, working abreast; and Y It consists in a novel combination and arrangement ofdevices, which eiectnally accomplish the abovenamed object.
The letter A, of the drawings, represents a bar or plate, having a grooved circular head, as shown, and being formed at its opposite or small end with a series of pin-holes. Y
The letter B represents a hook, adjustable in the pin-holes above mentioned, and the letter `C isa chain, attached to the rear side of plate A, as shown,and

What I claim as my invent-ion, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
A draught-equalizer, having plate A, hook B, chain O, and clevis D, constructed and arranged substantially as specified.'
