IMPROVED REVOIIVING CLOTHES-DRIER.
The Schedule referred to rrthese Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To ull whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN MCCASKEY, J rr., of Orrville, in the county of Wayne, and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Revolving Clothes-Frames; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying dravin'ngs, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which forni a part of this specification, and inl which-- Figure 1 represents a side view of my revolving clothes-flame and l said cap being formed around its circumference with Slots ll d.
c is a wire ring, secured to the base of the cap, near the circumference, in order to retain the upper ends oi the arms fff into the slots tl d, into which they are slid.
fff represent the arms, the upper ends being slid in the slots d al, as described, and their lower ends `pivoted to -the slotted slide y, sliding upon the stem b.
It will be seen that when the slide is raised, the weight of the outer ends of the arms will retain the same in a position at right angles with the stem.
Having thus described my invention,
What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
A revolving clothes-frame, consisting oft-he stem or standard b, base a, cap c, formed with slots d d, ring c, arms f f j, and sliding button y, all combined, arranged, aud operating substantially in the manner and for the purpose described. In testimonytliat I claim the foregoing as my own, I'aftix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
