fastened to said blotter at three edges and having an envelop flap ada ted to be foldedand tucked in between sai front and said blotter.
For the object above mentioned and for vother objects which will hereinafter a pear our invention consists of certain nove features, combinations and relations of parts, of which the herein described nove ty is'.
one of many possible embodiments.
While herein we have mentioned the minute details of our invention we do not limit ourselves to these, as the details of construction and. combination may begreatly varied without departing from-the spirit and'sc'ope of the inv ntion.
In the annexed drawin forming a part ofxthis specification and in which like referare front views of modifications.
ence characters refer to like parts throughout the several'views, and which are for illustrative purposes only, and therefore not drawn to an particular scale. 7
Figure 1 is a ront. plan view of the preferred form of our invention, with arts broken away, Fig. 2 is arear view 0 the same,,with parts broken away, Fig. 3 is a transverse sectional View, and Figs. 4. and 5 Referring more particularly to 1 to 3 the preferred form of ourjmvention comprises a sheet of blotting paper 1, and 2 a sheet of paper similar to the front portion of an ordinary enveloppasted, or otherwise fastened at its end edges, and its bottom edge as indicated at 'q, to the corresponding edges of said sheet of blotting paper, where- 'by is formed a pocket or envelop space between said sheets 1 "and 2. The sheet 2 is provided with an upwardly extending flap 5, which has a folding connection with said sheet 2. This folding connection may be perforated, asshown at 6, in Fig. 1,. or it may be slotted as shown in Fi 4. The flap 5 may be folded and'tucked nto the space between the sheets 1 and 2, and be thus adapted to hold in place circulars or other advertising material 7, as shown in Figs. 1
F i 5 shows a modified form of'construction in which the end and bottom edges of the sheets 1 and 2 are fastened together by means of rivets, or. other suitable fastening 7 The top of the sheet 1 of this modifica-v tion is not provided with a flap, but the upper edges of sheets 1 and 2 may be f'as-.
