In a bedstead of the kind described, the combination with each of the corner posts tliereof; of an attaehable and detachable jaw, each of said jaws consisting of two members, adapted to be joined and locked together on the post by a key 'insertible in said members, each of said jaws having` lon- `,ftiidinal and transverse channels adapted for the insertion and support therein of an angular Cross bar and a side bar, said cross i liar being` locked to said Jaw by a keyv adapted to lock said jaw together on said post, and said side bar being' loeked to said Jaw by a key msertlble in said Jaw as described.
