To all whom it ma concern: v
Be it known that I, Join: Hnrnnmno'ron,
a citizen of the United States, residing at Benton Harbor, in the county of Berrien and State of Michigamhave invented certain new and useful Improvements in Ticket or (oin Holders, of which the followingis a. specification;
The object of this invention is the production of a simple, inexpensive device for releasably securin Y a coin, ticket, or other token, to thebott es or'containers in which milk, cream, water, and the like are delivered to the consumer. i
Heretofore it has been usual for the consumer to leave the ticket in or beside the bottle, W'hen left lyini beside the bottle the ticket is liable to he I own away, and when laced in awet bottle difficulty is experienced E the milk-man in removing the ticket.
Tickets thus left in a wet bottle are damaged and their period of nscfulnessshortcned.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is anclevation of a milk bottle showmt; a device embodying my invention opcrativcly applied Specification of Letters Patent. Application filed r a, 1907. Berta! no. $78,965.

adopted to. engage the bottle neck. From the middle or connecting portion 2 is cut a tongue 3 having an outwardly-turned free end -4 to assist in guiding a coin or ticket or token a into the space between said tongue and the connecting portion 2 of the device.
The device thus constitutes a narrow band adapted to be readily'sprung over the neck of a bottle, the ticket-engaging tongue 3 being ut from themiddle portion of said band.
In use, 'the ticket or coin is engaged with the holder, and the holder slipped over the bottle neck. The insertion 'of the ticket beneath the tongue 3 is facilitated by pressin the arms 1 together, such movement of sai arms withdrawing the middle or connecting 3, thus widening the space between th portionZ from the tongue 3, as shown in Fig; tongue and said middle portion.
I claim as my invention:
As a newnrticle of manufacture, a coin or token holder comprising a strip of spring sheet metal bent to form two arms to engage a. bottle, and a connecting portion for salt! 'arms having a tongue out therefrom, said tongue. having anoutwanliv turned frceend to assist in guiding a coin of token into the space lict-we'cn said tongue and the connecting )ortion, said tonguenormally l 'ing within t o body portion, but ada to? to stand out from the body portion are movedtoward each other.
