WINDOW-CLEANER ATTACHMENT.
Specification of Letters Patent.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALVIN E. CARLsoN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Minneapolis, in the county of Hennepin and State of Minnesota, have invented a new and useful Window-CleanerAttachment, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the drawing.
This invention relates to new and useful improvements in window cleaning devices, and com rises various details of construc tion, com inationsand arrangements of parts which will be hereinafter fully described and then specifically defined in the appended claims.
My invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a side elevation of my invention. Fig. 2 is a rear View showing the brush in side elevation. Fig. 3 is an enlarged detail view in elevation of the handle connection, and Fig. 4 1s a cross sectional view through the handle connection.
Reference now being had to the details of the drawings by letter, A designates a handle having a socket B provided with a circular extension B and a sleeve D provided with a like extension C. G designates a screw having a winged head passing through one of said extensions and threaded into the other. An expansion spring K is mounted about said screw and tends to separate said extensions. Each of said extensions is provided with a peripheral flange having intermeshing teeth or serrations, by means of which the sleeve and socket may be held in different relative positions. A rod or stick C is centrally held in said sleeve D by any suitable means and may be adjusted or reversed in position by means of the serrated extensions and the screw G. A brush P is fastened at one end of said stick and a wiper O at the other end.
By the provision of an apparatus as shown and described, it will be noted that a simple and eflicient cleaning device for windows, is afforded which may be readily adjusted so as to be held at different angles.
