' To all whom itmayconcern: Be 1t known that I, ORIN R-LIVELY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ports-f mouth, in the county of- Norfolk andState of Vlr inla, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Display-Stands, of which the following is a specification. i The principal object'of the invention is to provide a display stand .suitable'either for domestic use as a repository for potted plants and the like or as an accessory of storesor fruit stands, Another object is to rovide a device of the character stated, whiclishall have considerable capacity in respect to the space it occuples. To-these and other ends hereinafter stated, the invention consists in the novel construetlon, arrangement and combinations of parts hereinafter described and defined in the claims hereto appended.

Referring to the drawings, 1, represents the main support consisting 'of a central rod or standard. 'The standard 1, is provided at or near the top with an overhang or projeca tionp'2,'and the shelf members or brackets radiate from the standard andarepivotally attached to the projection 2. 3, are angularly disposed legs or members, which carry the shelves and they are formed or provided with laterally extendedflatheads 4. It will further be manifestth at the capacity of the stand can be varied by adding or removing one or more of the arms orlegs 3.
Havingdescri-bed the nature and objects .of my invention, what I'claim as new and desire to secure by- Letters Patent is An expansible knock-down display stand consisting of a central support or standard having an overhang or projection, a built-up series. of pivotally connected angle irons or shelf members radiating from the standard andpi'vo-tally connected as ..a unit to said projection so that they may close upon one another or be brought in arallelism, brace rods pivotally connecting t e shelf members and standard, and angle pieces to receive the shelves. g y
