I do not limit myself to the particulareonstruction shown as it may be altered within reasonable limits without departing from the spirit of my invention.
Having thus described my invention, I cl aim as new and desire to secure byLetters Patent: v

A nozzle-elliptical in'cross section, a spring valve comprising a plate shaped to conform to the inner wall 01' the nozzle and secured thereto, said plate being, cut sway toward the free end thereof to substantiallv a semicircular cross section, and. a screw threaded tlirou h the nozzle and engaging the outer face 0 the plate, whereby to move said plate to restrict the passage of liquid throu h the nozzle.
