To all whom it may concern:

.Be it known that LE 'nEL CHRISTIE, asubiipct of the King of England, and residin at aton Mansions, Eaton Square, Lon on, S. W., England, married woman, have invented a certain new and useful Collansupport, of and exact splecification, and for which I have a plied for I etters Patent inGreat Britain, hfi). 24,958 of 1906, dated November 6, 1906. This invention relates to improvements in the lace or similar 7 collars of blouses, shirt waists and the like garments.

It consists in hooking or otherwise detachably mounting the collar upon a frame which encircles the neck and from which it may be easily.detached, the frame whichserves to maintain the collar of the blo'use in an ex-- tended and uncrushed cOnditiOn being attachable to or upon any suitable blouse or the like garment.

In another form of the invention the encircling member may be formed of spring wire and so shaped at the ends, see Fig. 2, that a hook from one extremity can be engaged with a corresponding hook or loop and the frame thus be held in the closed position by the expanding tendency of the spring instead of securing the facing ends together by means of a snap-catch.

It will be noted that the frame can be applied to any collar which is fitted with a cor responding means of engaging the same and may be employed upon any blouse which is provided with a collar, and that owing to the attachment of the collar to the vertical arms at anumber of places around the contour of the collar the latter is held up and revented from being crushed or depresser by the movements of the wearer.

Having thus described my invention what I claim as such and desire to secure by Letters Patent is l. A support for. the collars of blouses and '(e garments, said support comprising a member which is adapted to be fastened about the neck of the wearer independently of the blouse or collar, and said support pro- Vided with upwardly presented substantially hook-shaped devices for detachably engaging and holding up a collar applied to such support.

A support for the collars of blouses and like garments, comprising a frame member adapted to embrace the neck of the wearer, a fastening device for the ends of said frame member, u right arms secured upon said frame meni er and upwardly presented substantially hook-shaped devices fitted to said arms whereby the collar may be detachably secured to said support.

3. A support for the collars of blouses and like garments, comprising a frame member, interengaging connections at the ends of said frame member, upri ht arms secured upon said member and hoo is upon said arms adapted to hold said collar in a detachable manner.

A support for the collars of blouses and like garments, comprising a frame member adapted to encircle the neck of the wearer, inter-engaging connections at the meeting ends of sald frame member, arms arranged upon said member, connections upon said arms adapted to engage and hold said collar in a detachable manner and a V-shapcd loop or extension in the length of said members.

7. A support for the collars of blouses and like garments, comprising a frame member adapted to encircle the neck of the wearer, inter-engaging connections at the meeting ends of said frame member, arms arranged upon said member, connections upon said arms to 'engage and hold said collar, and a covering for said frame and arms.

8. A support for the collars of blouses and like garments, comprising a member adapted to encircle the neck of the wearer and having inter-engaging connections at the meeting ends of said member, a second member above and parallel to said first member, distance pieces between and secured to said parallel members, and connections carried y said upper member to engage and hold said collar in a'detachable manner.

9. A support for the collars of blouses and like garments, comprising a member adapted to encircle the neck of the wearer and having inter-engaging connections at the meeting ends of said member, upright arms arranged upon said mem ber, said arms hav ing connections to engage and hold said collar in a detachable manner, and a second member parallel to said first member and secured to said arms intermediate of their len th.
