Be it known that I, MILFORD E. J EWETT, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Keokuk, in the county of Lee and State of Iowa, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Bag-Ties, of which the followin is a full, clear, and exact description, I'EIGI'GIIGG being had to the accom- Eanying drawing, forming part of this specication.
My invention relates to a tie i or closing the mouths of money bags or for application to packages of other descriptions and it has for its object to provide in ccnnection with a tie of this character a tag or label produced as an integral part of the tie and adapted to bear an inscription designating the place at which the package was originally tied and sealed in the usual manner, whereby. the tag or label serves as a safe guard to revent the substitution of a new tie -by a dis ionest person after opening the package without the fact of the package having been opened beingdetectm This ap lication is a division from my application or U.
