This invention relates to certain improvements in folding machines fol-folding running webs.
In folding certain classes of products, as, for instance, circulars, it has been customary to use two folders on opposite sides of a runoperating .to turn in the edge of the web so as to produce a three-ply roduot, the central ply lying between the lines of fold of eachof the outer plies. While this construction is useful in certain classes of work, its capacity is limited to the production of the products which before hemg folded on the right angle lines referred to, consist of only'three plies. It is the object of the present invention to produce a folding a paratus by which any desired number of ongitudinal edge folds may be given a running web, thereby r0- ducing products of the character referre to having a large number of plies.-
\ With this and other objects in view, the invention consists in certain constructions and in certain parts, improvements and combinations as will'be hereinafter fully described and'then specifically ointed out.
