Be it known that I, GEORGE BUCHANAN, of Washington,in the county of Washington, in the State of Pennsylvania, have inventedanewand improved Grate-V Fender; and I do hereby `declare that 'the following is a full 'and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon. i Y
The nature of my invention consists in providing a fender with a handle and three-feet, to be set on top of gratos, to hinder the coal from falling from the fire, to be used when the occupants of aroom retire for the night, oll Wish to leave the room for a time.
