Be it known that l, ALBERT Gnoncn Plains, a subject et' the King of Great Britain, residing at London, in the county of London, England, have invented certain new and lm roved Apparatus for Stenciling Designs on ost-Cards and the Like, in one or more colors, applicable also for the decoration of other suitable articles, of which the :tollowing is a specification, such as will enable those skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the saine.

It is obvious that flaps can bc used, and l do not confine myd self to the example shown or to the shape thereof, as an Octagon base with angular iiaps, and other like variations can be usedl withoutdeparting from; the spirit of my invention, I also do not confine myself to the production of designs on paper, card, and

-Having now described and ascertained the any number of folding' nature of my said invention, and 'in what manner the same is to be performed l declare that what I claim is 1. An apparatus Afor stenciling designs on postcardsand the like, in one or more colors, consistingv of the combination of base B, with 'folding perforated flaps C, D, E, F, constructed and operating as described and illustrated in accompanying drawings.
