V This invention relates to sash pulley casings, and one of the principal ob ects of the same is tov provide means whereby sash pulley casings may be supported in the window casing without the use of screws.
- Another object of the invention-is to provide a sash pulley casing which can be uickly attached in place, will not require t e use of screws in attaching the sameto the window casing, and in place when attached.
These and other objects may be attained by means of the construction illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which:

meral I designates the window casing, 2 isthe parting strip, and 3 are thesash pulley casings, each comprising a bearing plate having inwardly extending arms 4 disposed within a mortise 5 in the window casing, and journal'ed in theof-' the grooved pulley for thepulleys are set in flush with the mner county of useful Improvements in which will be firmly held Fig. 2 is aarm 4 are .the. trunnions 6 7. The bearing plate surface of the window casing, as shown in,
Fig. 2, the flange 8 projecting at right angle to the arm 4. The opposite side 5% of the bea-r ing plate is provided with an integral face 1 portion 9, an inwardly extending member 10, and a terminal angular flange 11, "The I members 10 and the flanges 11 are seated in the :parting strip groove,
and the parting strip 2 is driven in place against the lugs 11, thus holding the two pulleys firmly in place and permitting them to be removed after the parting strip 2 has been withdrawn.
v From the foregoing it will be obvious that my sash pulley casings donot require the use of screws for holding them in place, that they can be quickly secured. in the window casing, and can be quickly removed for repairs whenever required. Having thus described I claim is The hereindescribed sash the invention, what mg arms, a pulley journaled in said arms, a right angled flange extending from the inner e ge of the plate into the parting strip groove of a window frame, such flange provided with an extension lying flush with the bottom of said groove,--and a-parting strip pulley casing comprising a plate having inwardly extendseated in the groove for binding the flange in place. i
In testimony whereof, I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
