To all to whom these presen/ts shall come Be it known that LABNER A. Gmnnrxe, of Lexington, in the county of Middlesex, and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and useful Game- Count-cr; and do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof', due reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification, and in whichv Figure l shows the game-counter. arranged to count Figure 2 shows it, arranged to counttwo;

The object oi' my invention is to produce a gamecounter, which shall be simple, cheap, and convenient.'

This invention overcomes many difficulties of counting by.cards, or other means. -It is not'liable to be accidentally shuiiied into the pack,- or the numbers changed, and can be readily seen from any part of the table.

The invention consists in the use of cloth, with paper counter is folded, as shown in iig. 6, and placed upon,

the table, and, as the numbers or points are scored, they are counted, as shown in figs. l, 2, 3, and 4.

The counter may bc made with any number of strips,

and to register any required amount.

I claim the game-counter, consisting of the cloth and l paper, so marked and constructed, as, by folding` and unfolding, to exhibit numbers successively, as herein- 'before set forth and explained.
