IMPROVEMENT IN PIPE-WRENCH AND CUTTER.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ROBERT Avis GOPELAND, of the city and county of Baltimore, in the State of Maryland, have invented a new and improved Combination Pipe-Wrench and Cutter; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and'exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
The nature of my linvention consists in constructing an adjustable pipf-xwencb, the inner or biting jaw of which may be removed and substituted by a cutter, at pleasure, and in st )arianging and combining the various parts as to secure perfect vaction in the whole, Whether used as wrench or cutter, at moderate cost of manufacture, Without4 extra Weight or liability to To enable others skilled in the art to make and use my invention, I will proceed to describe its construction and operation.
Figure N o. 1 represents the Wrench, with the lower jaw or holding-bar C C in its place.

This is furnished with a socket, H, for the reception ofthe lower end of holdin g-bar G O or cutter-bearing D, (shown in Fig. No. 2.)
