a display cabinet wherein various types of merchandise may be readily shown, the display frames being easily removed or interchanged to replace or change the merchandise displayed, the cabinet as a lwhole providing means for protecting the merchandise from dust, moisture, etc.

The accompanying drawings will serve to illustrate my invention.

In the drawings: 1 indicates the front or Fig. 7 and 8 and bottom movable section of the cabinet and 2 the back or fixed section. The movable section is made up of a front 1,'v sides 4, 5, base 6, and top 7, and the fixed section 2, of a back 8, sides 9, 10, base 11 and top 12. The fixed and movable sections are hinged together at 3, and arranged over the tops 7, 12, is a series of electric lights, 13, 14, respectively arranged in staggered relation, each light registering with a space between two lights upon the other section.

In the rear and above the lines of lights 13,

'14, are two reiiecting surfaces, 15, 16, which operate to reflect upon the merchandise attached to the display frames, within the fixed and movable sections. At one side and at the top are bracket supports, 17, upon which are arranged pivoted stud pins, 18, Fig. 7, and in the fixed and movable sections at the bottom at one side are brackets, 19, carrying fixed stud pins 21.

Fig. 6 is a hori- 20, which may be of any construction, preferably a rectangular metal frame, 22, having a flexible center, 23, upon which the goods to be displayed may be pinned or 'otherwise fastened. The upper and inner edge of the frame is bent, as shown in Fig. 7, to form a socket, 24, to receive the stud 18, and the lower end of the frame is provided with an extension, 25, which is provided with an aperture to fit over the stud pin 21. Any other means of supporting the swinging frames may be employed.

Secured to the outer edge of the movable section of the cabinet is a depending arm,:27, on the lower end of which is a caster, 28. This arm and caster serve to support and guide the movable section, when rotated inward or outward. Located in the bottom of the cabinet is a drawer 29, which drawer may be dispensed with.

In Figs. andl 6, the construction of the parts is the same as that described, except that the cabinet is double instead of single.

' Having thus described my invention, I claim:

1. A display cabinet comprising a fixed section and a movable section, supporting brackets in each section, the supporting faces of said brackets being disposed at substantially right angles to each other when the cabinet is closed, and a series of display frames carried by said brackets, whereby when the sections are opened at right angles vthe inner ends of the frames will be substantially in line.

2. A display cabinet divided vertically into a movable front section and a back section, the said sections being hinged to each other along the dividing line of one side, and a plurality of swinging vertically disposed display frames pivotally mounted within said cabinet so that they may be placed parallel to either section, a part of said frames being attached to each section, means for supporting the front section of said cabinet when open, and a folding stop attached to each section of the cabinet and which determines the point to which the movable front section may be moved from the back section.
