'IMPROVEMENT IN STOP-VALVES PoRV STEAM AND OTHER ENGINERY The Schedule referred to :in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it 'may concern:
Be it knownthat I, Josnrir 1H. Davis, ofthe city land county ofAllcgheny, and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Improvement in ValvevCocks for Steam and other Engincry", and I do hercby declare thzit the following is-a fuli, clear, and exact description thereof, reference beinhad to the accoinpa-nying,- drawings, aml to the letters of retin-ence marked thereon. p
The nature ot' my invention consists in such a con-v struction and combination ot' the valve-chamber ot' a Valve-cock, with a coupling-pipe, that the bore of said pipe and chamber shalhbe the same under all sizes oi' construction.
To enable others skilled in the art to make and use my invention, I will proceed to describe its construction and operation.

Having thus described the nature, construction, and operation of my improvement,
What l claim as of my imfention, is- The construction and combination of the Valvechamber ot' uvalve-cock with a coupling-pipe, Whereby the bore ofsaid pipe, chamber, and opening in the valve-seat shall, under all sizes of construction, be the same, substantially as` herein described.
