IMPROVEMENT IN WOODEN WASHERS FOR CARRIAG-IES.
To ell-whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, THOMAS M. HART, of New Bedford, in the county of Bristol, and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and improved 'ooden YVasher for Carriage-Arles, and for other purposes; and Ido hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
My invention consists in making wooden washers of two. or more thicknesses of board, fastened together by glue or any adhesive compound, in such manner that the grain of each shall be at right angles to the other, to prevent splitting.

A woodenwasher, made of two or more thicknesses of board, fastened together by glue or any adhesive compound, in such manner that the grain of one shall cross the grain of the other, to prevent splitting, as herein specified.
