Be it known that LCHAnLns W. flnninxrx, ofGhicago, in the county ofCook, and State Of-Illinois, have invented a new and -uset`ul Improvement in Boiler- 'lube Scrapers; and I do declare that the following is a true and accurate description the-reci', reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, and being a part of this` specitication.

The object of'this invention is the construction and arrangement of an apparatus for cleaning boiler-fines, and is constructed in the following manner:
A are semieircular disks, provided with guides, F, and are hinged at H by pivot L, to which is hinged and secured, inside, rod I, which passes through the chumber in disk A, and is allowed to oscillnte freely. Thel front disk is provided with the chamber D, in which is inserted spiral spring C, which serves to extend the periphery of the disk, that it may be sure to come in contact with the' Walls of the ilues, init-Q Passage through them. 4
The projections F serve to guide and brace the disks. The projecting lips E are to cover the opening space between the disks, `and prevent the entrance of any foreign matter thatinight get between the disks, and prevent the working of the same.
The operation of this invention is `simple and Well' forth.
