SALT-AND-PEPPER-CRUET HOLDER.
Specification of Letters Patent.

Colorado, have invented a new and useful Improvement in 'Salt-and-Pepper-Cruet Holders, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to certain new and useful improvements in salt-and-peppercruet holders, and has for its object to provide a device that is very simple and cheap in construction and one that can be easily and quickly attached to any article desired.
Another object of my invention isto provide a cruet-holder that is especially adapted to be used in connection with a lunch or din-' ner pail, as it can be easily and quickly attached to the pail without being in the wa ways be on hand when wanted.
A further object of my invention is to provide a salt-and-pepper-cruet holder which is adapted to be made out of a single blank of sheet metal, so as to reduce the cost of manufacture.
A further object of my invention is to provide a salt-and-pepper-cruet holder with a hook member, so that it can be hooked over any article desired, so as to support the same.
With these objects in view the invention consists of the novel features of construction, combination, and arrangement of parts hereinafter fully described, and pointed out in the claim.
In the drawings forming a part of this specification, Figure 1 is a perspective view of the holder, showing it attached to the edge of the pail. Fig. 2 is a section taken through one of the holders. Fig. 3 is a plan view of the blank from which the holder is formed.
Referring to the drawings, A indicates a sheet of metal, which is preferably formed of tin and is provided with outwardly-extending spaced lugs B and O at its ends. The bottom of the plate A is serrated, forming s urs D, and arranged centrally of the plate are spaced openings E and F, through which the lugs B and C are adapted to pass and be bent back upon the sheet A when the ends of the plate A are bent over to form cylinders B and O. The spurs D are ada ted to be turned upwardly, so as to form a s eleton bottom for the cylinders, which are adapt ed to receive the salt-and-peppe'r cruets, Projecting up centrally from the plate A is an arm G, which is adapted to be bent back u on itself adjacent its end, forming a hook G which is adapted to be hooked on the edge of the pail H.
From the foregoing description it will be seen that I have provided a salt-and-peppercruet holder that is exceedingly simple and cheap in construction and one that will take up a very small space when in use.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
In a device of the kind described, comprising a metal plate having a serrated edge, ugs formed on the end of said plate adapted to pass through openings in the plate whenthe ends of the plate are bent back to form cylinders, the spurs formed by the serrated edge adapted to be turned upwardly to form a bottom for the cylinders, and an arm projecting upwardly from said plate and back upon itse f to form a hook as set forth.
