To all whom it may concern:
s Be it known that I, MILTON 0. Pairs, a citizen of the United States, residing at Loraine, in the county of Adams and State of Illinois,
have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Coops, of which the following is a specification.
This invention pertains to improvements in brooders or coops for fowl.
o It has for its object to provide for the convenient housing and caring for the fowl or chickens and a coop adapted for brooding urposes and which may be readily cleaned and folded when required for shipment or 5 transportation or being stored.

In carrying out my invention I constitute the coop, preferably, of a number of parts or members adapted to cause it to finally assume a triangular shape in general outline, as shown, the same being designated as the hot tom 1, the ends 2, and the inclined top or roof members 8, said ends and roof or top members being suitably hinged or loosely connected to said bottom. The ends 2 are suitably held in place bythe use of preferably ring-headed rods 6, inserted through apertures in practically opposite points in the roof members, two rods being employed for the retention of each end, the same passing opposite the inner and outer sides of the latter. It is also obvious that by simply withdrawing said rods the ends may be readily folded inward or outward, as may be desired.
The entrance-opening 1 to the coop may. be and is guarded against intruders by an inner skeleton door or grating 7, suitably hung from the coop opposite said opening, while outside ofthis grating is also suitably hung from the coop a preferably wire-netting door 8 for securely protecting and closing the same opening.
I claim A coop of the character described, composed of a bottom, triangular ends connected to said bottom, and top or roof members connected to said bottom and resting upon the edges of said ends and one top'memloer hav ing an overlapping ridge portion fitting down upon the apices of said ends and upon the corresponding upper edge of the opposite top member, means for connecting together said top members, and ring-ended rods inserted through apertures in said top members, two at each end thereof, one upon the inner side of each end and one upon the outer side of each end.
