Be it known that I, DEL ltoY F. FOWLER, a eiiizen of the United States, residing at Melrose, in the county of Montgomery and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful improvements in Portable Baths, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to improvements in portable baths for infants and children; and it consists of a collapsible receptacle or bag fin-med of a waterproof material and so. appointed that it may be readily secured to the rim of an ordinary bath-tub or to a frame especially adapted to its purpose.
The nature of my invention will be more fully understood by reference to the accompanying drawings and to the description thereof as hereinafter presented.

Referring now to the reference-letters of the drawings, Airepresents a bath-tub of the conventional type, having faucets A A and a waste-pipe A It also has an upper rim or flange A extending somewhat over the framewijn'k of the tub, to which the device forming the subject-matter of my invention is adapted to be fastened.

each of which is adapted to engage a buckle l), hinged to the hook I), which latter is formed so as to embrace the flange A of the bath-tub. The stay-rods G which support the ends of the bag B, are threaded at Fig. 6 illustrates my their ends to enter correspondingly-threaded lower openings in the hooks D, which, like the hooks D are also fitted to embrace the flange A of the bath-tub.
In Fig. 6 I have illustrated my invention as adapted to a special form of frame E, which may be employed in places where a bath-tub is not accessible. This frame is composed of cross-pieces E E, &c., connected together by upper horizontal rods E E and a centrally-located horizontal rod E to which the cross-pieces are fulcrumed. Where a frame of this description is employed, I prefer to fasten the stay-rods C and C together by a coupling F, which, as shown in Fig. 7, is threaded to engage both of said rods. The bag B is provided with a discharge-nozzle G and plug G, and where a frame such as shown in Fig. 6 is employed the lower thread ed part of the nozzle G may be provided with a rubber hose to fill or discharge the bag, as may be desired.
Having described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters. Patent, is;
1. flhecombination witha supportingframe, of side and end stay-rods adapted to be secured thereto, a bag secured to theend; stay-rods and hooks adjustably secured to the sides of the bag and adapted to engage the supp'orting-frame.
' 2. The combinatidii of a supporting-frame, of side and end-stay' rods detachably secured together and adapted to engage the supporting-frame, a bag of rubber or like material se-' cured at opposite ends to the stay-rods and hooks adjustably fastened to the sides of the bag and adapted to, engage the supportingframe. I
3. The combination of a supporting-frame, of long and short stay-rods threaded together'and arranged within the supporting frame, hooks connected to the ends of the short stay-rods and adapted to engage the supporting-frame, a bag secured at its ends to the short stay-rods and provided along its sides with straps, and hooks adjustably se; cured to the straps and adapted to engage, the supporting-frame.
