Specification of Letters Patent.
' Patented March- Application am his 28,1906. sum No. 267,450.
To all whom, it may concern Be it known th t I, LINNAEUS T. ELLIS, a

My invention has relation to means Whereby large quantities of this pa' er may be p aced in a convenient receptac e and be at all times in readiness for use; and the obj ect e following is a specifi-v thereof is to provide simple and reliable means. for holding this paper and preventin the. useless waste thereof. I accomplis these. objects by means of the device described herein and shownin the accompanying drawings, in which I Figure 1 is a perspective view of my toilet paper magazine partly filled with to let-paper. Fig. 2 is a central vertical section show ng the manner in which the magazine is secured to the wall. Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a follower adapted for placement on the loose toilet-paper in the magazine.
In the drawings, A represents the magazine-casing, andB the to thereof.
0 represents the fol ower, adaptedv for placement upon the toilet-pa er D, the mag- 30 azine bein in place and hel to the wall by the screw and being full of toilet-paper, as
shown in Figs. land 2. The forefinger is passed through the vertical longitudinal a erture A into the magazineand also intotiie aperture 0 in the follower and laced on the first layer of toiletaper, which is then drawn from underthe .fol ower C through the vertical opening A. This will not disturb the cess for the passa e of theother layers of paperbeneath the first one when it is drawn out for use. 'The follower O is of sufficient weight to keep the different layers of paper in proper order while the top layer is being withdrawn. By this arrange ment the useless waste of toilet-paper is alwaysavoided and a always be on hand. The ma azine can be easily refilled when em ty an can conveniently be made of a su cient lengthto chamber the necessary quantity to last an indefinite period. The magazine should incline downwardly from quantity thereof will the back to the front, as shown in the drawings, that the different layers ofpaper may be easily drawn therefrom.
