To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, WALLACE M. LONG- STRETH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Terra Alta, in the county of Preston, State of West Virginia, have invented certain new and useful Improvements inCatamenial Sacks, of which the following is a description, reference being hadto the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of refer-- ence marked thereon.

My invention relates to that class of pads known as catamenial sacks.

The objects of the invention are to provide a, receptacle or holder for absorbent material which may be readi'lysterilized without injury to the material of the receptacle, to provide such a receptacle with a retaining means movable across its 0 en u per side to hold the absorbent materia in pl dce and yet not inconvenience the wearer, to form the receptacle of perforated sheet metalor of metallic wire in the form of an open cup in the upper open portion of which is pivoted the swinging retainer.

The objects I accomplish by the construction shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view showing the invention in use.
