Be it known that I, WILLIAM BLAY,`of Helena, lin the Territory of Montana, have invented a. new-and improved Mode of Attaching and Securing Handles to Pick-Heads; and I do hereby declare that the following is a. full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying'draxvings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon. I
The nature of my invention consists in providing the pick-head and handle with a metallic strap, so that it will be irm and strong while in use, or easily detached forl the purpose of sharpening or resteeling; also," for changing, so that many pick-heads may be used from time to time with a singlehandle.
