Be it known that l, JOSEPH M. RIBERT, a citizen of the Enlted States, residing at New York city, in the county oi vN ew York, State of N ew' ularly to the class ot' such devices adapted toV be secured toa bar-top or tabletop and to be operated by a handle.
My invention has t'or.- its object toprovide" a construction i"y such device which shall be simple and inexpensive to construct and shall be durable and ecient in operation, and particularly to so form the parts ofthe device that they may be made, so far as possible, by casting without the necessity for machining. With these objects in view my invention consists in the construction and combination of elements hereinafter described, and particularly pointed out in the claims.

As the handle R is operated to rotate the gear K the rack J will be moved downward, carrying down with it the rod H and the plunger l. As the rack moves downward the cam-groove S of the cam S is engaged by the pin T, and as the lower portion of the groove is straight the plunger will be carried directly downward for' the first part of its movement.
