IMPROVEMENT IN GAS COOKING-APPARATUS.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be Vit known that I, MICHAEL GERMANN, of Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton, and State cl Ohio, have invented a new and useful Apparatus for Cooking with Gas, which is perfectly harmless for those who use it; 'and I do hereby declare .that the following is a full and exact description.
`'.lhe nature of my mechanical invention consists in providing the ordinary gas-burner with an additional burner4 for general cooking purposes, to be used with an ordinary gas-light, vand attached to the wall by a bracket. l v
To enable 'others skilled in the art to manufacture my invention, (called Bedroom Companion,) I will proceed to describe its construction and operation. v
I constru'ct myvccoking-apparatus of an iron bracket and frame, with an additional burner attached thereto, which is a tin tube with a perforated cap, which producesa blue flame Without the least smoke.
For general cooking purposes, all that is required to be donefis to appendit against the wall on a nail or` otherwise over the top of any ordinary gas-burner, so as to insertvthe gas-burner about a quarter of an inch up into the tin burner, then light the gas and place the cooking-utensilupon the'b'racket.
v It can easily be attached to the Wall or any other place.r over a gasfhurner, and can also be conveniently detached.
