TO ALL WHOM IT MAY GONCERN:
Be it known that I, I. S. PIGOTT,Y of Central Station, Doddridge county, West Virginia., have invented a new and useful Improvement in Log-Wagons; and do herebyde'clare that ,the following is a. full, clear, and exact descrip-tion thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make andruse the same, reference beingl had to the accompanying driwings, forming part of this specicatiomi p n y This invention relates to on improved log-wagon, cart, or sled, and consists. in an upright frame arranged on the axle-tree or roller of a.' common log-wagon or cartor on the cross-piece of a. sled.
Apaiir of dogs is hung from the cross-piece of the frame, the cart hacked up to the log, nnd'lzhe frame turned down upon it, the dog-irons driven into the log, and thchorses on being started dran' 'upthe frame and swing the log lupon the carriage. In the accompanying drawings- Figure 1 is e front'v'iew of'my improved log-wagon.

I claim es new, and desire to secure by Letters Patentp The log-wegen, constructed as described, having the freine B upon the axle A, and provided with the dogs grasping the timber, all operating as described, whereby theflepression of the tongue D raises the timber-end places it upon the axle A, and. within vthe frame B, as herein described, for the purpose specified.
