Be it known that I, PHrLo H. The loperation is as follows: The box is filled with water above the rollers r. When the motion \f the main roller is from A. towards q the garment is thrust. in at r1. Before the garment 'passes entirely from roller 'r the motion of the crank-end of roller Ais reversed,v and as it moves from qrtowards A the garment is carried between roller A and rollers t" r2 rl. Before it has escaped from roller 1" the motion is `again1-eversed, and so on until the garment iswashed. v

Small garments are placed in a net-work sack, and are thus run throughthe machine together.

What I claim es my invention, and desire' to secureby Letters Patent, is- AThe' arrangement of `the small rollers r with thev crank-roller A, pressed down by the lover, vveighnand their connect-ions, all constructed and operated substantially as described.
