COMBINATION DOM INO-BOX AND MARKER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 627,875, dated June 27, 1899.
Serial No. 641,048. (No model.)
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that we, RUDOLPH HENRY PFEIFFER and WILLIAM FREDRICH HAHN, citizens of the United States, residing in Pensacola, county of Escambia, State of Florida, have invented a new and useful Domino Box and Marker Combined, the box and counters being detachable, each forming a separate part, of which the following is aspecification.
Figure 1 in the accompanying drawings shows a perspective view of the box when put together. Fig. 2 shows a similar View of the box, being partly open. Fig. 3 shows a perspective view of the marker when detached.
The three parts forming the box are held together when not in use by the hooks Ct and b, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2 of the accompanying drawings.
The top and bottom forming the markers are laid off in squares, the squares being numbered from five to two hundred and fifty, respectively. Each square also has a hole for a peg to be inserted and used in counting when playing. Should the first count be five, the first peg will be inserted in the first hole bearing the first count five. Should the next count be fifteen, the player will take the second peg and count from the first holethus, five, ten, fifteenand insert his second peg in the corresponding hole. His correct account Will thus be always before him where he puts his last peg.
We are aware thatprior to our invention game-counters have been invented. We
edges, a base having apertures to receive the pins, a lidhaving apertures to receive the upper pins, double hooks-pivoted to the sides of the frame and engaging pins protruding from the edges of the lid and base, substantially as described.
3. In combination with a frame having pins extending from the upper and lower edges, a lid and base having apertures for the pins, numbered holes on the upper surface of the base and the lower surface of the lid and means for clamping the base-frame and lid together, substantially as described.
