TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: 
 Be it known that I, ALEXANDER ADAMSON, ot' the city of lVashiugton, District of Columbia, have invented an improved Adjustable Rut n21 to be Attzu h :(l to a Chair or small Carriage to run on the ice; and I do hereby declare the following to be an exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, making a part of this specification, in which Figure 1 represents a perspective view; and 
Figure 2 a rear view. 
 The nature of my invention consists in the construction of metallic runners, with slots and movable sockets, and a cross-brace, to be attached to the legs of a chair or small carriage, to be run or pushed forward on the ice.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is- 
 The construction of the adjustable metallic runners, in combination with the sockets and brace-rod, to be attached to a chair or small carriage, for the purpose herein set forth.
