Be it-knownthat I, AMOS RAnK, or balem, in the countyofOolumbiana andState of Ohio, have in.-

vented a new and useful Improvement in Sleighs, of p QWlJlGll the following is a specification. i i My invention relates to that class of sleighs inwhich a springis employed betiveenrthe seat and the runners.

Its object is to secure a simple, durable,.and easy- The improvement consists 'in combining elastic D shaped runners, having their openends behind, and

t their upper members iorminga support for the seat,

with a spring interposed between the upper and lower member-slot" the free ends of the runners, as hereinafter shown. i
