To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that 1, CHARLES W. Looks, of Lowelhin the county of ll i ddlesex and State of Massachusetts,have in vented certain new and usefullmprovements in Treads for Stairs, &c., of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to the novel manufacture of treads for stairs, sidewalk-plates, walk-lights, coal-.hole covers, carriage-steps, stirrups, and other places where it is desirable to have a non-slippable surface.
