2d, e citizen of the United States, residingat Newton, in the county7 of Middlesex and State of Massachusetts, have in vented a. new, and useful Improvement in Nail-Strips, of Wh ich the following is a, full, clear, und exact description, reference being' .had to the ziccomponying drewings,forxuing a. part of this specification, in explaining its nature.
The invention relatesto snail-strip having holders for supporting the nztils and nails corriedby said holders in uniform or regular relation to each other.
Referring `to the dra-wings, Figure 1 is a View in side elevation of the f ront section. of the nail-holding strip. Fig. 2 is et vertical section thereof. Fig. 3 is et pion view thereof. Fig. 4 represents the front section as united to Ithe rcur section. Fig. 5 represents the complete nail-holding strip in section and Fig. G is n View in perspective enlarged. of the strip. Figs'and 8 illustratie modiicetions, to which reference is hereinafter mudo.

It will be understood of course that the section o. is united to the section a. by peste, glue, or other similar adhesive substance.
Hoving thus fully described myinvention, I claim and desire to secure by Letters Pattent oi' the United Statese As an improved article of manufacture a neil-strip comprising e long holding strip of flot, flexible material, projections extending laterally from the stripv provided with 6o perforations, the upper one of which is the longer and into which perforar-tions nails are inserted, und from which they are removed by being,r driven downward through said holes, the whole forming a means for the trunsportation und feeding ot' loose headless neils, as und for the purposes described.
