Beit known' that I, MARY F. Bisnor, a citizen of the United States, residing at Bridgeport, in the county of Fairfield and State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Hot-INater Heating Devices; and I do hereby declare the following to boafull, clear, and exact description of the inventiomsuch as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My invention relates to certain new and useful improvements in devices for heating water over a gas or lamp iiame, and has for its object to provide a device of this description which shall be very simple and efficient, and in which the vessel containing the water shall not be exposed directly to the flame of the heating agent.
In the accompanying drawings-Figure lis a perspective illustrating my improvement as applied over a gas-jet, and Fig. 2 a sectional elevation.
Similar numbers of reference denote like parts in both figures of the drawings.

In applying my invention over a gas-jet I would prefer to utilize a bracket 5 secured at the top to the bottom of the drum, and having at the lower part acollar 6 which maybe placed over the gas burner 7 and thereby supported, as shown in the drawings. Ot course, if my invention were used in connection with a lamp, any ordinary means could be employed for properly supporting the drum in position.
I provide an aperture 8 in the top of the drum to permit of the escape of the steam from the water in the drawer, but I do not consider this necessary since the drawer may be Withdrawn from the drum sufficiently to adord ample egress for the steam, as shown in the drawings. W'hen the water in the drawer has become sufficiently heated, the latter is simply pulled out and may be placed upon any suitable object without any danger of burning or smoucning the latter. Also, when the drawer is removed, the drum may be utilized for the purpose of heating curling irons and the like.
The combination of a metallic drum normally open at its front end, a metal drawer adapted to be inserted in said drum, and a bracket provided at its center portion with a collar for attachment to a gas burner or the like and having its upper ends rigidly attached to the said drum.
